Other’n a few YouTube offerings, I haven’t seen much on this new round. It looks to me to be the best 10mm idea in an AR pattern rifle, utilizing a regular (not pistol mag well) AR lower, bolt, gas system, etc.
Only a couple companies seem to be offering barrels and most rifle companies offering complete rifles make only bolt guns. Weird.
Has anyone tried one? I’m dying to know.

Not sure about the mags, but I would guess 6.5 Grendel mags would work best. They share the same base diameter.
Bigger issue I see is bullets. Our 10mm pistol bullets are gonna grenade on contact at these velocities. I don’t think this will buy you anything in common with 10mm auto other than the diameter of a hole in paper.

There are lots of 6.8 SPC mags that might work, in theory but the few YouTubers are using 350 Legend mags in their vids. No idea why.
I’d like to see the Win 215 bullet available as a component but I’m sure it’s too long to try in 10mm. I’d likely use very heavy bullets that I cast in 400 Legend loads. I already throw the RCBS 205 grainer in pistol loads and look forward to 300+ grain moulds. Maybe some of the BPCR moulds would work, but I haven’t looked.
The whole project is just for S&Gs anyway. It’s unlikely that I’ll point it at anything bigger than an unlucky coyote out the truck window.
