Rifles / Best Rear Flip Up AR Sight
« on: January 09, 2018, 05:32:00 PM »
I can't get logged into AR15.com and they need a not free email account to re-register so I'll throw this out here.  If you can get logged in there maybe post it there and see what you get for answers. I have this Midwest Industries flip up rear site and it sucks.  I dial it in for the close range aperture and when I flip to the long range one it's four inches high, which it should be, but it's also five inches right, which it should not.

Have you ever checked yours?

Anyway I want to ask on there what is a good tried and true proven rear sight.

10mm semi-auto handguns / Sites and Grips For Witness Elite Match
« on: December 15, 2017, 05:01:36 PM »
Just got my Witness Elite Match and haven't even fired it yet.  I can tell I want to get some slimmer grips, wood if available and some sites that you can actually see when the sun is not out.  8)

Any recommendations for either.

General Discussion / Anybody Ever Do Business With Big Daddy Guns???
« on: March 22, 2017, 12:52:28 PM »
My experience is really beginning to suck!  First they don't have what the say they have in stock.  They sent me an email that he order was cancelled and the money was refunded but then proceeded to charge the amount against my account today!!!!

WTF????

Now after three phone calls and messages left, and three emails I have yet to talk to anyone.  After reding the reviews on YELP I see I'm not the only one that's not pleased with their service.

Reloading 10mm ammo / WOW! That Went Fast!
« on: April 22, 2015, 08:03:57 AM »
Don't know if I should post this or not but maybe it will spark ambition and vigilance in some.  I just found and ordered a 4 pound jug of Vihtavuori 3 N 38 last night and was going to post on here that Grafs has it.  Just checked to make sure and it's gone.  Forget those "Notify Me When In" request things.  I had one here at Grafs and never received a notice.  I just happened to check and it was in.

For sale / Brand New Starline Nickel Plated 10mm Auto Brass
« on: August 25, 2014, 10:28:42 AM »
$177 a thousand plus shipping.  We're trying to get a group buy from Starline brass going.    Main topic is up in the 10mm reloading forum.  Minimum order is 8000 rounds.  3 to 4 months delivery time.  I will need money up front as I don't have a thousand dollars laying around that I could use to float this operation.  Also I could see real problems in 3 or 4 months when I need to settle up with Starline and someone has changed their mind.  Let me know in the thread in the reloading forum if you're interested.

Reloading 10mm ammo / 10mm Nickel Plated Starline Brass Group Buy/Share
« on: August 23, 2014, 11:51:50 AM »
Brass is here.  Now we count.

Closed Order Placed 09/09/2014 @9:10 CT.    There was a $16.20 Insurance charge that was added.  Thanks to some of the generous participants I will use those extra funds sent to cover that.  One of the participants pointed out to me that USPS raised their rates.  15 cents on the small box.  Haven't looked to see what it is on the others.

Three to four months.  I'm thinking a nice Christmas present for us.  I will get a notification from Starline when it goes for platting, a few weeks before it ships.

They sell them in lots of 8,000.  It comes to about $177 a thousand not including shipping.  I see shipping from Starline is free but I'll have to ship to you.

I'm in for two grand.

Reloading 10mm ammo / 2 Questions On 10 mm Brass
« on: May 24, 2013, 06:18:54 AM »
Question #1.  10mm Mag.  Can it be trimmed to 10 mm Auto?  I have access to a limited supply for free.

Question #2.  Starline brass has a minimum order of 8,000 cases for nickel plated 10mm Auto at 169.6 per thousand.  That would be $1356 total.  I don't know if that includes shipping or not.  Probably not.  Would anyone be interested in doing a group purchase?  I would be in for 2k.

Reloading 10mm ammo / Delta Elite, 11.7 Grns. VV3 N 38
« on: May 18, 2013, 11:32:31 AM »
I'm up to 1313.2 fps and the brass at the base has gone from .005 bulge from new to like a few now with .0055, .006.  There was a .005 bulge right from the start, 10.0 grains and has stayed pretty consisten until now.  I'm thinking I might still keep trying to pushing it.  This IS what I was hoping for but you know how it goes, good enoogh is never good enough.

Thoughts?  Opinions?

Earl o

Round count.  This is pretty consistent, I'ld say.  Accuracy was 4.5 at 50 feet.
