$1800 and no magwell?  My plain old .45 TRP has one and I paid nearly half as much as they're asking for the 10mm.  Here I was hoping for an XDm in 10mm, though the XDM 45 I have isn't the most pleasant gun to shoot.

Ah hell with it... Just give me a 7 or 8 shot Redhawk in 10mm, dammit.

 ;D

General Discussion / Re: Am I ok with carrying loaded with 10mm ammo?

Really? Even if I reduced the power?

Ok, I put the 10mm barrel back in and loaded it with Hornady 10mm 175 FlexLock instead of the Uw 10mm 200 XTP.

That's what I carry. It's almost identical in speed from a G29 as the CD is from the G22. The Critical Duty performs marvelous from a G22. 14.5" of penetration in jello through heavy clothing and it also does great through car doors and windows.

If we aren't carry full steam Underwood, we are just getting full size 40 speed from a short barrel.
Like now I've put the 4.6" barrel away too. I don't carry it that way because it's not stock. So it's a. Novelty like my 9x25 barrel. I'll probably sell them both. I polished my stock barrel, but the only modification I have now is a LoneWolf 3.5 connector. Which is odd for me, I just haven't swapped it back.

I may sell the 4.6 10mm and 3.78 9x25 Dillon barrels.

It's an XD-M in 10mm as well as a 1911 in 10mm.

You're facing a 300 lb man who is at least 15" thick through the chest aiming a gun at you so his arms will catch the rounds first.

In my situation, with a Glock 29,what would you carry? I was trusting the Underwood 200 XTP until I seen the Chopping Block video where they failed to expand at all. Justin at Underwood said the 200 Nosler is better from the 3.77 barrel. I'm still carrying my 175 Critical Duty. 1070-1080 fps from a G29. Which puts performance dead on with a Glock 22,which is down right impressive. Hornady using the Interlok design on the FTX is genius. There isn't a better barrier basher on the market (screw those snake oil xtreme defenders etc).

I want the 200 GD loaded to Norma's 1200 fps or I'm going back to the Underwood Delta Elite load.

Thoughts on this are always good.

No Glocks  ;D

I think someone can give the loss to that barrel length. I will say they use #9 powder and it's about as safe as you can get.

No Glocks? Please don't tell me you have those Miami Vice looking turds? Lol

The only fireballs I've noticed from my Glock 29, is with the 180 V-Crowns and it looks like a dragon with Underwood 9x25 Dillon ammo.

I just tested Reed's 180gr Gold Dot and it's about an identical equal to Underwood's DE load. It's around $33.00 for a box of 50.

Thanks! I'm reconsidering Gold Dots. I've carried them for as long as I've had a handgun. My 10mm is the only thing I haven't just been able to pick up Gold Dots for.

Could you chrono them from a 29 by chance?

2400 ft/lbs. Not too shabby at all. I love a 12 gauge, will probably always be my favorite weapon. That or it plays a close 2nd to a 338 Win Mag. Just something about hitting a deer broad side at 200+ yards and watching them drop in their tracks.

No bed will survive getting blasted with a shockwave  :))

Next year I'm probably going to register it as an SBS so I can put a speed feed stock on it.

I've contacted the ATF about everything I want to do to my Shockwave. I know any local PD is going to harass me about it regardless until someone straightens them out. So mine don't leave home. Just a bed side blaster.

Shockwave now in 20 Gauge with 3" Chamber.

All this talk about mods to the Shockwave are just poking the bear so to speak. We have good thing going here I just do not understand why some feel they have to poke that bear?????

Because we paid our cash for them, they are now ours. Any mods we do as long as it's not a stock and stays above 26" OAL it isn't hurting a thing. My Glock was perfectly fine as it was, but I paint or polish accents on it too.

I don't know what to say Ok. What loads are you shooting? Does the barrel wiggle in your slide?

I'd hate to think I gave you a bum barrel.

I'm going to get some 40 S&W FMJ's, 10mm FMJ's, and try some of my Underwood 200gr Noslers. The ammo that went everywhere was Hornady Critical Duty and Sig V-Crowns.
