I have a Colt Match 10 also and it is a great shooter.  I have been told the were put together with much more care than the Gold Cups that followed.

Many do not like the looks of the Millet Sights, but I certainly like them for shooting.  The only thing "Delta" on them is the grips.

Anyone with one of the Colt custom pre-delta elite, hang on to it. Mine is a great shooter and even more so with the Fusion 40S&W barrel.

No one who would really appreciate it. My wife has asked several times that I make a list of my guns and what they are worth. That got me thinking. I am having to research that question for myself and it would be almost impossible for her to sell them off on her own. I am just going to keep a select few that I do shoot plus the ones that I can not sell (stamped items) and go ahead and sell the rest. Besides, even a well researched list of prices now may not be accurate at a later date. For example I had told her that my blue 6" Python was worth $1k and told her where the box was and explained that the box was an important price factor in selling that gun. The price kept going up at each gun show and when it hit $2k I said OK that is high enough. I sold it at the next show. Now, I know they are still going up but that is not always a sure thing and I was not being greedy.

These aren't "Pre-Delta".  The best clue to that is the Delta symbol on the grips.

These were custom runs by Colt a year or two after the DE was released.  I think the Match 10's were 1989 or 1990 production, 400 guns were made.
