      4th of July received a phone call from a large local shop stating “Your gun is in”…”what gun”….”Ruger GP100 10mm”…”What barrel length?”…3″…!!!!

      Turns out back in January I was talking to one of the mangers about a WC 3″ and when he checked none were available in the system…or anywhere else for that matter as they hadn’t been made in 2-3 years…used ones were going for $1200-1700…

      Well this kind person put in a special order with my name first on the list…and after 7 months it came in… Stopped down there today to confirm it was a 3″ and put it on lay-a-way as I didn’t have time to do the paperwork and transfer from the store in Maine to their outlet in NH…

      So if you have been waiting for a WC 3” find a local shop to put in an order to TALO as apparently they are being made again…

      So, how has it worked out?! I’d really like to know, I’ve spent a lot of time wondering without purchasing. I’d love to hear how folks have pushed this particular revolver, what kind of accuracy they’ve pulled out of it, etc.

      BTW, I was sorry to find the site down, I’ve been a lurker for some time. Thank you to those how are working to bring it back around!

      Gun has been great…

      Have fired it with several different handloads and factory ammo including some .40 S&W using TK ThickClips…zero issues.

      With the 165 Berry’s bullet and 10 grains of AAC-7:

      3″…950
      4.2″…1040
      6″ Kimber…1130

      200 grain Hard cast with 8.0 grains of Longshot:

      3″…1050
      4.2″…1070
      6″ Kimber…1185

      Very pleased with the gun so far…have not seen any new ones on the market and am still wondering how I got mine…

      Thank you “very” much for such a quick and thoughtful reply. That’s great!

      This model doesn’t seem to show much, now that I’ve decided I’d like it. Trying to drum up the courage to jump if I bump into one someday.
      I thought from your first post that there might be another run hitting the shelves, but I don’t “see” that happening (which doesn’t mean it’s not!).

      Found out from exchanging emails with a Mr. Kane at TALO that the gun is the only WC Special that Ruger has shipped this year. It went to Davidson’s, who is one of TALO’s network members, and from there to my dealer…

      Mr. Kane stated it is very unusualy for only one gun to ship…

      If anyone is looking for one, there is a used one on GunBroker with a $1000 BuyNow…
