I love the 10mm in a semi auto platform and have handled and shot a couple of revolver in that caliber, but I will always fall back on my beloved .41mag revolvers. I have been hunting, competing, carrying concealed and open carry(in the field) for over 30 years and they have served me well. I love handloading for that caliber and can create loads from mild to wild. I have used them in bowling pin competitions against semiautomatic handguns with great success. My favorite is a formerly 5.5″ stainless Ruger Redhawk that I cut to 4″ and performed all sorts of custom work on.

Years ago I bought into the .44 Mag but the old guy who taught me a lot about casting worshiped the .41.
For all intents and most purposes the two big mags are interchangeable. But they’re still big guns.

My 3” WC in 10mm is a different package completely and has become my most carried gun. Only a bit shorter than my 10mm 1911, about the same weight and four rounds less capacity it doesn’t make good sense but as one fellow on a different online forum said “Revolvers are just more organic”.

Don’t worry, the SR1911 gets a lot of love too.
